There are three Plenary Sessions at ISBE 2007:

Plenary I - Opening Plenaries 10.30-12.30 Wednesday, 7th November

ISBE Mission: "Promoting excellence in education, research and practice in small business and entrepreneurship"

This opening session will be split into three parallel "mini-plenary" sessions focusing on the three pillars of the new ISBE Mission Statement. The sessions are led by the respective ISBE Vice-Presidents for Education, Research and Practice supported by experts in each field. The sessions are designed to be interactive and audience participation will be encouraged.

Plenary II - Theme: The Global Entrepreneurial Economy - 14.00-15.30 Thursday, 8th November

This Plenary Session reviews the entrepreneurial economy from a global to a local perspective.

Plenary III - Theme: The Social Enterprise Debate - 16.00-17.30 Thursday, 8th November

This Plenary Session will explore the relationship between market/business solutions and resolving social problems as well as the motivations of social entrepreneurs and venture philanthropists. After short introductory speeches from each member of the panel, the topic will be opened for debate with the audience.
