HOTELS & OTHER ACCOMMODATION This year the ISBA Conference Registration Fees do NOT include any overnight accommodation, as there is a wide range of hotels, apartments and guest houses located within a short distance of the Conference venue. (NOTE: Discounted rates can only be obtained using an ISBA password that will be notified with the acknowledgement of your Conference registration.) There will be specially chartered shuttle buses from Jurys Inn to the venues of the Welcome Reception on Tuesday evening and the Gala Dinner on Wednesday evening. Return transport will NOT be provided. The buses will depart as they fill up with delegates between 18.15 and 18.45 - the early buses giving a longer drinking time!!. After the Welcome Reception on Tuesday evening delegates can walk across the iconic Millennium Bridge and choose from a wide variety of restaurants, bars and clubs along the vibrant riverside, which is only a short (uphill) walk to most of our selected hotels. After the Gala Dinner on Wednesday evening delegates will be able to explore the wide variety of city centre pubs, bars and nightlife which are only a short (flat) walk from the Civic Centre towards our hotels. The main Conference Venue for the plenary sessions is the Scotswood Suite at the LIFE Science Centre near the Central Station. The Workshop Sessions will all be held in Jurys Inn - marked as number 1 on the map, which is only 200 metres from the LIFE Science Centre.(Umbrellas will be provided!!)
